Set within a historic building just moments from Winchester High Street, our space offers warmth, personality and plenty of character — the kind of place that feels special without ever feeling too formal.
Our private events are designed for larger celebrations of 60 guests or more, with minimum spends across food and drink.
Abbey Mill comfortably hosts up to 150 guests, with beautifully connected spaces that flow throughout the building. Relaxed lounge areas and our large open loft create plenty of space for guests to mingle, while a dedicated music booth and dance floor are ready for live bands, singers, DJs or the perfect playlist to take the evening through to midnight.
Every event is thoughtfully planned with our team, with food, drinks and the details brought together to create a celebration that feels completely at home at Abbey Mill.

From your first enquiry to the event itself, our team will be here to help you get to know the space and make planning your celebration at Abbey Mill as straightforward as possible.
We’ll talk you through how the venue works, timings, food and drink options, suppliers and the practical details you’ll need to consider. On the day, our team will be on hand to look after the venue, bar and service, while you and your chosen suppliers can make the space your own.
We are fully licensed until midnight, with an experienced team and full bar available throughout your celebration. From welcome drinks and fizz to cocktails, wine, beer and alcohol-free options, we can build the drinks offering around your event, with last orders and celebrations wrapping up in line with our midnight close.
